Rachel's Wedding
Hair and Make Up Trial
Rachel arrived for her trial early one week day morning –she was friendly and bubbly
We had a brief consultation where we established Rachel wanted a natural but fresh look for her wedding day – she was getting married in April so hopefully a sunny day would accompany her!
I started her make up trial by applying a light to medium coverage foundation which I then set with a loose powder. On her eyes I applied a subtle shimmer Lancôme eye shadow in cream.
On the outer corners of her upper eyelid I applied a taupe brown eye shadow from Chanel which gave the eyes definition and which I then carried underneath using a smudging brush. On top of this I applied a brown eyeliner pencil which I also blended, finishing with a few coats of black mascara the make up was complete.
On her cheeks I applied a Chanel blusher which was a toast colour; on her lips I applied a new product from Guerlain in a pinkie red.
When I gave Rachel the mirror she was really pleased and completely happy with her look.

Leanne and I arrived at a lovely B & B in Farmnborough where we were made to feel really welcome by Rachels friends as she had not yet arrived.
Leanne started on Rachel’s bridesmaid while I applied mak up Rachels sister – she never wears make up so the key was to make it look as though she was wearing make up without piling it on.
She had the previous week had an allergic reaction to something so her skin was very delicate, with this in mind I applied a light tinted moisturiser as she had not long returned from travelling so she had fantastic skin colouring!
Moving onto her eye shadow I decided upon a natural pink base on top of which I applied a mocha colour and blended well into the outer corners, she neither used eyeliner so I used the mocca eye shadow to give a subtle definition, on her cheeks I just applied a highlighter as she had fab skin colour and finally on her lips I used a taupe long stay lip colour – beautiful!
Next up was Rachel’s mum – she was finally pinned down after running around organising!
She voiced concerns over her red colouring on her cheeks so I applied a green corrective make up to counteract this, on top of this I applied a medium coverage foundation which I set with transluscent powder. On her eyelids I appied a matt cream eyeshadow which I then blended a dark rose coloured eyehadow into it, I then added a couple cotas of black mascara on her cheeks I applied a neutral blusher and on her lips a 12 hr long stay lipstick, she looked a million dollars!
Last but not least the bride! Who was amazingly stll relaxed and not stressed! I then recreated her trial make up, as you can see from the pictures she looks totoally stunning, radiant and gorgeous!
