Liz's Wedding

Hair and Make Up trial

Liz came for her trial with her mum; she was really relaxed and very chilled out.She had with her veil and not really any clear or definite ideas on a make up style.

She mentioned she did not usually wear much make up and after discussing her dress and finer details of her wedding I decided to keep her make up look quite simple.

I Started by applying a medium coverage foundation Liz had great skin , on top of this I added a power. On her eyes I applied a cream Lancôme base which was not too shimmery but also not matt. On top of this and into the socket line I applied an iridescent Chanel peach toned eye shadow which I applied using a damp brush to add some substance, although this gave the appearance of a light look when it caught the line it was beautiful!

I blended well into the socket line and took it a little underneath the lower lash line. On her upper lid I applied a thin line of brown eyeliner pencil which I also softened.

On Liz’s cheeks I applied a toast coloured blusher and use a light reflective powder to highlight her cheek bones.
On her lips I went for a beech coloured lip liner on top I applied a clear gloss to add depth and shine.. I think Liz was a little surprised with her look but loved it immediately, I thought she looked demure and elegant!

We arrived on the morning of her wedding at Liz’s parent’s house, it was a lovely sunny day and Liz and her mum were putting the finishing touches to the marquee and gardens with jars of candles. We were directed to the bedroom and set up our tools.
Leanne started by applying heated rollers to Liz’s hair and after they were all in I started to re-create the trial make up.

The bridesmaids had arrived and were great fun, they immediately relaxed Liz who was very busy running through her vows!
The make up went superbly and she looked absolutely stunning! (Minus the rollers!)

Leanne started to remove the rods and started to work her magic on her hair with many twists and turns she created a beautiful chignon. Liz had decided to go for a side parting on the day instead of the pulled back style of the trial, we both agreed it totally softened the style and was more special.

Leanne attached her veil and we left them to enjoy the last couple of hours secure in the knowledge Liz looked beautiful, elegant and demure!
