Kelly's Wedding
Hair and Make Up trial
Kelly came for her trial just 3 weeks before her big day which is a good time scale for us if you can cope with the close proximity to the day!
Kelly was not really sure how she wanted her make up and so we tried 2 looks. The first was using beige and gold’s which really suited her, then we tried aubergines and plums which confused matters as this also really suited her!!
The lipstick was more difficult and we ended up using gloss! I applied a few coats of 100% black waterproof mascara to complete the look. Kelly decided to go for the first make up which I was pleased about as it really highlighted her eyes.
Kelly had a picture of Coleen Mcloughlin's hair on her wedding day which was predominantly down with the sides being incorporated into the back, almost twisted and pinned in place. It was very intricate but with her comments and Leanne's advice we decided to try something completely different. Leanne had a picture in her mind of how she thought Kelly's hair would look best and went about turning this into reality.
The end result was amazing - almost Grecian style with the longer hair tumbling over her shoulder - the look in her eyes spoke volumes - this was definitely the look!
The Wedding day...
Kelly's wedding morning had arrived and as we opened the door the first thing we saw was a chilled out Kelly, feet up, glass of bubbly looking at the views of Bath City Centre!!
I started with her make up - we were going to go with the 1st look we had done in her trial, and everything went as planned - Kelly used her own lipstick and she looked so radiant!
I rushed off to go to another Bride and her 3 Bridesmaids! And Leanne re created Kelly's hair. She didn’t have a veil; therefore her hair really was the star attraction!
From the pictures Kelly sent us the complete look was superb - her dress was like nothing I had seen before and the style of her hair and make up really complemented this lovely dress.
