Kate's Wedding
Hair and Make Up trial
We met Kate in April at her hair and make up trial where we learned that the dream wedding she had taken a while to organise was cancelled due to the venue going into receivership.
However, her romantic husband to be had some and found a new venue and booked it on the date so the wedding could happen after all!
At her trial Kate did not really have any clear cut ideas as to how she wanted to look, just to be elegant and radiant; Kate was quite a quiet character so it had to be something that would not be loud and brash!
I applied a tinted moisturiser as Kate had quite a dry t zone and so I concentrated on keeping this are moisturised.
On her eyes I applied a Beigy pink matt eyeshadow and using a cream shimmer highlighter applied this to her brow bone.
Using a darker shade of the first colour I blended into the socket line.
Using a grey soft eye pencil I applied this to the lower lash line and blended well suing a softener brush.
Finally I applied a few coats of Black mascara, the blusher was rose in tone and I applied this to her cheek bones, on her lips I used a rose tinted lip gloss.
Leanne then started on Kate’s hair because Kate had decided she wanted it down using the straightening irons she emphasised her natural curl and applied a shining serum
With her look complete Kate was really happy and we were all looking forward to the big day!
The Wedding day...
We unfortunately had no sat nav the day of Kate’s wedding and it was quiet in the middle of nowhere! So we ended up being 20 mins late!, because we allow for this when we arrange arrival times there was no panic!
Kate had the use of the conference room to get ready in which made a change from the usual hotel room and for me the light was fantastic!
I started on Kate’s mum who had mentioned that she had not wore eye make up for a while due to wearing glassed and so I emphasized her eyes using a grey eye shadow and a grey pencil on her lower lash line, the I applied a coat of waterproof mascara. On her lips I applied a rose pink lipstick! _ Beautiful!
Next was Kate’s bridesmaid, she also told me that as of late she was not wearing much eye, make up and so applied light taupe eye shadow and blended this well with a cream highlighter which had a shimmer to it!
Using cream eyeliner I applied this to her upper lid, finishing off with a coat of black mascara.
On her lips I applied a long stay brown toned colour.
Last and not least was Kate, she was not at all nervous and the sun was now shining!
I completed the look as per the trial, and she looked absolutely fresh faced and beautiful!
