Emma's Wedding
Hair and Make Up trial
Emma contacted us via the website and a trial was arranged for hair and make up. Emma did not usually wear a lot of make up but appreciated how important it was for the photo. For her eyes I chose a subtle mink with a hint of shimmer and used a soft pinkie colour to highlight her brow bone.
To open up her eyes I added a touch of chocolate brown along the eyelid and in the socket line. Emma already has a lovely skin tone so a dusty pink highlighted her cheek bones.
I finished with a brownie lipstick with a subtle sheen. Her hair was already shoulder length but Emma bought along some clip in hair extensions to add volume, these worked wonders and looked amazing.
Emma wanted a couple of tiny plaits which were taken form the front and worked in to the back. Leanne pinned her hair up off her face and created lots of twist at the back to create a bun. She left some loose which she curled to give a Grecian look. A final touch of glass flowers finished the look perfectly.
She looked absolutely beaming and I for 1 can't wait to see her on her wedding day!!

Surprisingly Emma's skin coped really well with the night before!! So I was able to add only a touch of concealer! I applied the eye shadow which by using the browns and beiges really enhanced her eye colour. We had discussed and decided to use different Mascara that Emma had brought; this went on really well and framed her eyes perfectly!
The lipstick colour changed slightly as the day was so beautifully sunny we decided to go for a beigy pink very similar to Emma’s natural lip colour.
I think she looked fresh faced and absolutely beautiful, my only regret is that I was unable to see Emma in her dress!!

After having her trial hair done, Emma decided that she wanted more height in the top of her "up do" and didn’t want the Grecian tousled curls, although they were lovely, Emma decided that they were not going to suit the rest of her look.
So, we placed the extensions in and created more height on the crown. Then, I carefully created some nice barrel curls and weaved the hair through here and there.
Finally I criss-crossed the little plaits at the front of Emma’s head and incorporated them into the curls.
I think you will agree, the finished result looks lovely on Emma!
