Emily's Wedding
Hair and Make Up trial
Emily was so friendly and relaxed when we met her for her trial at Leanne’s house, she had a few ideas but to be honest she was totally open to suggestions, She also had a great sense of humour!
I decided to use neutral colours for her make up after discussing with Emily what she did and did not like, I started by applying a cream shimmery base to her eyelid which I blended to the brow bone, I blended into this a browny coppery tone into her socket line and slightly above and underneath her lower lash line a touch.
I then applied some brown eyeliner to her lower lid and softened with a blending brush. I finished her eyes with volumising waterproof mascara. On her cheeks I used a taupe blusher with a touch of highlighter on her cheek bones.
On her lips I went for a light brown long stay lip-gloss. She was really happy with her look and she looked fantastic!
The Wedding day...
On the wedding morning we arrived at a lovely flat in Marlborough Buildings, the weather was fair and everyone was really welcoming.
I started on Emily’s bridesmaid; she was 16 and so open to any amount of make up, although I opted to keep her youthful, fresh and glowing.
I applied quite a light foundation and used concealer to even the skin tine and cover any blemishes.
I applied a pinkie brown eye shadow base and suing a darker shade blended to the socket line. I then applied slate grey eyeliner on her upper lid which I softened.
I finished with black mascara. On her cheeks I went for a cream blush on the apple of her cheeks and on her lips a pink matt lip-gloss.
She was really pleased and looked lovely!
Then it was Emily’s turn – I recreated the trial make up and she looked absolutely stunning, everybody was happy and friendly and it was a pleasure for Leanne and myself.
We wish Emily and her new husband all the best for married life and thank her for letting us be part of it.
