Andrea's Wedding
Hair and Make Up trial
Andie came for her H & Mu trial in the evening, my daughter was here also as my husband was late home – Andie sat on the floor and started playing with her, I explained and apologised but she was “Don’t be silly” and explained she has 2 boys herself.
When my husband arrived home, we went upstairs and started andie’s make up. We had a brief conversation regarding her expectations and the look she wanted to achieve. As you can tell she is naturally very attractive which always makes my job easier!
I started by applying a light reflective foundation and set this with a loose powder, on her eyes because she was open to a heavier shade and usually wore black eyeliner I was free to go a little heavier.
The base eye shadow I chose could almost be described as a ‘dirty’ pink with a slight shimmer, on the brow bone I used a natural Lancôme cream colour to highlight the shape of her eyes and blended well.
I applied a slightly darker ‘Mocha’ eye shadow on the inner lid line to accentuate her eyes.
I then applied chocolate brown cream eyeliner to her top lids and lashings of black mascara!
When I showed Andie it was agreed we should go a little darker so the black cream eyeliner came out! I applied this on top of the brown and this instantly gave her eyes a wow appeal!
On her cheeks I wanted to give a dewy fresh look so I applied a pink powder blush and on her lips we went for a brownish pink lipstick.
She looked amazingly elegant and reminded me of Audrey Hepburn.
The Wedding day...

Natalie is Andies sister and she opened the door to Leanne and me on a beautiful sunny day”!
When I managed to get her to sit down for a second I started on her make up!
She explained she did not really wear much and so with this in mind, I applied the base
I used a MAC tinted moisturiser and set this with a light loose powder, I decided to use a mixture of sage greens and creams on Natalie’s eyes, and started with a Khaki green base eyeshadow. I highlighted and blended well a cream shimmery eye shadow into the Khaki to lighten the colour a shade. Using a brown eyeliner pencil, I drew a line and using a ‘smudge’ brush softened the line. I then applied Black waterproof mascara.
On her cheeks I used a Chanel Toast coloured blush and applied only lip gloss to Natalie’s lips as they were really dry and sore.
After Leanne had set Andies’ hair and the Bucks Fizz was flowing I started on Andie’s make up as per the trial.
When we had finished Andie gave us both a gift, some wedding favours, which were the most gorgeous white chocolate infused with real coffee beans! – Delightful!
