Dani Leroy

My interest in hairdressing began when I was 14 years old, way back in 1989!  I desperatley wanted a Saturday job and my mum was dead against it.  After much persuasion she relented, as long as I chose a job that interested me.  A condition that she no doubt regretted somewhat as I had discovered hairdressing and I LOVED IT!

Her dreams of me becoming a lawyer or a doctor were quickly shattered as I started my apprenticeship to become a hairdresser and fulfill my dreams.

Her disappointment couldnt last long though.  I sailed through my City and Guilds, passing with distinction, and was working for the funkiest, most up and coming hairdresser of the time Mr Nick Brain.

uring this time I also represented the college on a naional level and came third in the "avant garde" hair up category.
I then went to do a lot of local fashion shows for shops in Bath such as Square and John Anthony.

took part in a hair show in Bristol, sponsored by Tigi Hair products, which was compered by Andrew barton, currently the celebrity hairdresser on popular tv show " 10 years younger".

fter working for Nick Brain hairdressing for 15 years, and having built up a thriving clientale, I moved to Tony and Guy and then to Russell Brooks where I continue to work as both colourist and stylist.

he birth of my son last year forced me to work part time at the salon, but gave me the opportunity to focus on the area of my work which I love and you've guessed the rest.....................its wedding hair.
